New Favorite Drink!

I spotted a recipe in a coupon circular and saved it until I could gather the necessary ingredients.  I had to shop around and had a hard time finding a few of the things I needed, but I'm glad I found everything.  This smoothie is not only delicious, but healthy, too!  And the best part - you only need three ingredients!!

Pineapple Coconut Smoothie - only 3 ingredients
Pineapple-Coconut Smoothie

1/2 cup Pineapple Orange Juice (I used Dole brand)
1 cup almondmilk coconutmilk blend (I used vanilla Almond Breeze brand)
1 1/2 cups frozen pineapple chunks

Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. 

Yield: 1 large or 2 medium smoothies

By my own calculations, making this as one serving is about 266 calories, so for two it is only 133 calories!!! 

The original recipe only called for pineapple juice, but I wanted to buy the small cans and my grocery store only had pineapple orange juice in the small cans. 

Enjoy staying cool this summer with this smoothie.  Or make it into a low cal pina colada  by adding some rum.  Yum!
