I would like to see or hear about things you have made with your own two hands (or feet, Im not fussy!) We all have different talents and abilities, maybe you like to sew or knit, chisel or sculpt, draw or paint? Whatever your talent is, please share it with us this week.
So I started racking my brain and came up with several things I have made myself:
First - Cakes & Cupcakes
I have made all of my kids birthday cakes, whatever they decide on. I have also made birthday cakes for many other family members. Here are some of them:
Emma's Care Bear Cake
Grandma McKillip's birthday cake - chocolate cake with peppermint buttercream filling and chocolate buttercream frosting
Ian's Power Ranger cake
Ian's Scooby Doo Cake
Ian's Treasure Chest Cake (for a pirate party)
Zoe's Zoe Cake
Here is the cake and cupcakes I made for my father-in-law's 60th birthday
Zoe's Batman Cakes
Ian's 1/2 Birthday Cupcakes
Martha's Bridal Shower Cake
Death By Chocolate Cupcakes
Grandma & Grandpa McKillip's 65th Anniversary Cake (everything on there is edible)
Here I am (9 months pregnant with Zoe) making my "Welcome Home" cake - the one's the kids frosdted and decorated with my husband for the day I came home form the hospital with Zoe.
And here's the actual cake
Next are cookies and desserts:
I love to cook, and I have several main dishes that are yummy, but my true passion is baked goods and desserts.
Charlotte's Web "Wilbur" cookies
Cherry Vanilla Ribbon Pie
Gingerbread Cookie Christmas Tree - I made this with my two daughters
My Mom's Birthday Apple Crisp (my parents are not cake people)
Peanut Butter Cup Cheesecake
Shamrock Pie - a St. Patrick's Day Tradition
Triple Chocolate Torte
Now here are a few things that are not edible that I have made.
Block Guy - made this while playing with my kids one day
This drawing of my three kids
The skeleton costume for my son when he was four years old
Zoe's Christmas stocking - (I've actually made all of my kid's Christmas stockings, this is the only one I have a picture of)
I have made lots of other thing, too. I can cross stitch and I scrapbook and make cards. But for now, this is what I have to show you. Can't wait to see what the rest of you have made!

Wow!
Not only are my eyes bugging from all or your beautiful eye candy, my mouth is drooling too!
You just successfully shot my sweet tooth into overdrive! I would have a very difficult time picking my favorite from all of those, but since cheesecake is my favorite dessert I'm going to go with the Peanut Butter Cup Cheesecake. It looks divine!
You are amazing. The cakes especially are fantastic. Thanks for sharing them. :D
Lucky kids, family grownups and friends. What originality you have in combining flavors and the design of your "sweeties". Some of these I've never even heard of and would like to get to know better!
Have you put together recipe books of your own creations? If so, what a page turner!
I was drooling so much that I needed to wipe off the keyboard - and I would have taken a bite out of your block man before I read that it wasn't food. bwaa a ha.
Yummy stuff you bake!!!
So when does the bakery shop open up? I don't bake much and really do appreciate your different cakes. They are so creative.
WOW!!! I especially like the 65th anniversary cake. I will be checking your blog for recipes. I am not good at decorating and icing so I do not even attempt. the donuts were good, they mostly tasted like rolls to me but my family loves them
You must have made some people very happy with all that baking and clever decorating.
Ok, can I just move in now?? I want a taste of all of those yummies!!! I can't choose..you are incredible...you definitely get the Mom of the Year award!!
Yum on the cakes, cupcakes, and cookies some are too pretty to eat.
Love the stocking takes a lot of work but that one is so cute.
Wow … these cakes and cupcakes are WONDERFUL. Are they calorie free perhaps? Love the block guy, Halloween costumes and crafty things too. You’re quite creative! I’ve shared today at Small Reflections.
Hugs and blessings,
Drool. Great. Now I have to clean that up...
All of that looks good, but for some reason, the Wilbur cookies especially appeal to me!
Wow! You sure make my sloppy Elmo cake look crappy! LOL! You are very creative indeed! Your cakes look professional!
Loved the block man! Very Cool! Thanks for playing.
Those cakes! How yummy do they look!
Wow! Fabulous. You are so talented. I love the cakes and desserts. You are a kindred soul. I think the Wilbur cookies are my favorite, though. They're just stinkin' cute.
Wow - I especially love the Treasure Chest cake!
I am still making my way through the Fun Monday list :o) I am in awe of your skills!! Those cakes are amazing and I bet your children are thrilled to have a mom who can bake any kind of cake they want. And I just have to say those Wilbur cookies are too cute for words LOL
You are soooooo talented! I wish I could make cakes like you!
